SEOUL, Oct. 13 (Yonhap) -- Park Woo-jin, a member of disbanded K-pop boy group Wanna One, will release his second EP, "SOLSTICE," at 6 p.m. Tuesday, his agency Para Music said.
The upcoming release marks his first new album in 1 1/2 years since he released the single "Cool & Hot" in April last year.
The singer named the album "SOLSTICE," referring to the moment when the sun reaches an extreme point of its annual cycle and the seasons change, and expressed his move toward new possibilities along a path of his own choosing.
The album includes "STAMINA," a tech house track serving as the title song, which conveys confidence and ambition to constantly challenge oneself beyond one's limits.
