SEOUL, Aug. 18 (Yonhap) -- Joseon Beauty, a traditional herbal cosmetics brand owned by Goodai Global, will become the first South Korean cosmetics brand to enter all 800 stores of Australian retail giant Coles nationwide, the company said Tuesday.
Coles is a major Australian retailer with stores across the country. Goodai Global said this marks the first time a K-beauty brand has officially entered a major Australian retail chain.
The products to be sold include Glow Propolis Serum, Ginseng Cleansing Oil, Ginseng Essence Water and Green Plum Cleanser.
"Australia is a key strategic market where interest in skin care is high and demand for K-beauty is growing rapidly," a Goodai Global official said. "This entry will mark a turning point in which K-beauty naturally becomes part of Australians' everyday shopping routines."
