POSCO workers stage partial strike over wage dispute

A traffic signal turns red in front of South Korean steelmaker POSCO Co. in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province, southeastern South Korea, on Sept. 9, 2026, after the company's labor union began a two-day partial strike following its failure to narrow differences with management over wages and other compensation. The walkout marks the first strike by POSCO workers since the company was established in 1968. (Yonhap)
