Unionized members of Naver's affiliate stage partial strike

Unionized workers at Naver Z Corp., the metaverse affiliate of Naver Corp., shout slogans as they stage a rally at the company's headquarters in Seongnam, south of Seoul, on Sept. 9, 2026, to launch its first-ever walkout that will last until 5 p.m., protesting against the company's decision to freeze wages. They could escalate their collective action if demands are not met, the union said, warning to launch a full-day strike on Sept. 23 and a five-day strike afterward. (Yonhap)
