SEOUL, May 25 (Yonhap) -- Actress Ryu Hyun-kyung from H& Entertainment will join SBS TV’s new drama “Cheer Up,” according to her agency, on Wednesday.

“Cheer Up,” is a romantic comedy series starring actors Han Ji-hyun, Bae In-hyuk, and Kim Hyun-jin, that depicts the campus life around students who come together in a once-leading university cheering squad.

Ryu will play Shin Ji-young, the deputy head of the university's academic affairs department. The upcoming series will be aired later this year.
