Arirang TV to live broadcast 'ROK-US summit'

SEOUL April 23 (Yonhap) -- Arirang TV will broadcast of ROK-U.S. summit on real-time in the American capital next month, the media outlet said on Sunday.

Arirang TV will set up a special studio on the rooftop of the building across the street from the White House, operating a two-way live broadcasting system on a 5G mobile network. The correspondent will introduce the venue and various sites to cover the events related to the bilateral summit.

From May 25 through May 28, special segment of news will also be broadcast from the local studios in Washington every 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. The special segment will include on-site reports and commentaries by experts on North Korea and the Seoul-Washington relations.
