BTS attracts 620,000 audiences to Las Vegas concert held online and offline

SEOUL, Apr. 18 (Yonhap) – It is estimated that K-pop superband BTS attracted over 620,000 fans, including both online and offline, to the Allegiant Stadium for their concerts held in Las Vegas, United States.

According to Big Hit Music, about 50,000 people visited the concert “BTS PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE - LAS VEGAS” held on Apr. 16(KST).

The concert was held four times at the Allegiant Stadium on Apr. 8, 9, 15, and 16.

The tickets for the concerts, where 50,000 people showed up per show, were all sold out with 200,000 fans finding the stadium.

BTS members performed their major hit songs, including “ON,” “FIRE,” “DOPE,” and “Blood Sweat & Tears,” and changed the background of the stage to provide attractions depending on the mood of the song.

It is estimated that a total of 22,000 people gathered for four days at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, where the concerts were aired live through a large screen.

Moreover, about 402,000 people watched the last day’s concert online from 182 countries and regions.

In other words, about 624,000 people, including 222,000 people visiting the stadium and other streaming audiences online, enjoyed the concerts.

The agency explained, "According to the Allegiant Stadium, BTS is the only musician that has performed solo concerts four times and attracted 200,000 people with four performances."

The agency said that more than 10,000 audiences visited the promotional booth of the Korea Tourism Organization, which was provided at the Allegiant Stadium to promote Korean culture during the concert, and tried on Hanbok while taking pictures in flower palanquin.

BTS said after the last day’s concert, “What we remember the most from the concerts this time is the shouting of our fans,” adding, “Thanks to your love, we were able to perform happily for the past 9 years since the debut.”

Meanwhile, the number of audiences visiting the concert series “PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE,” which started in October, 2021, has also increased.

The members have held concerts for 12 times starting from Los Angeles(LA), Seoul, and Las Vegas, and the cumulative number of audiences exceeded 4,000,000, including the offline concerts, online performances, and live events.
