SEOUL, April 2 (Yonhap) -- Actress Song Ha-yoon's side has completely denied allegations of school bullying raised against her during her high school years.
On the 2nd, King Kong by Starship, Song Ha-yoon's agency, stated, "The reported claims and content regarding school bullying are all false."
The agency explained, "Currently, unfounded and speculative content is spreading due to one-sided claims from the informant. After confirming the facts with the actress regarding the informant's claims, we found that there was no contact between the actress and the informant, and all the content is false."
On the 1st, JTBC's current affairs and culture program 'Scene Stealer' broadcasted content stating, "Recently, actress S has been embroiled in allegations of school bullying despite receiving love for her villain role in a popular drama."
The informant claimed on the broadcast, "I was called out to the playground behind the school during lunchtime and was beaten for an hour and thirty minutes without knowing the reason," and also hinted at further revelations.
Although the broadcast introduced the actress as "S," the data screens and photos used in the broadcast pointed to Song Ha-yoon, prompting numerous comments on her personal social media (SNS) asking for her stance on the issue.
