SEOUL, June 12 (Yonhap) -- Netflix's series 'Sweet Home' returns this summer with its third season, premiering on July 19, as announced by Netflix on the 12th.
'Sweet Home' is set in a world where desires transform people into monsters. The returning cast includes Song Kang, Lee Jin-wook, Lee Si-young, Go Min-si, Park Jin-young, Yoo Oh-sung, and Kim Mu-yeol.
Season 2 concluded with a dramatic twist, revealing that Eun-hyuk (played by Lee Do-hyun), who was presumed dead after undergoing monstrous transformations, reappears in human form. Season 3 will unravel the mysteries behind Eun-hyuk's enigmatic smile, the fate of Hyun-soo (Song Kang) who was being consumed by a monster, and the complex maternal relationship of Yi-kyung (Lee Si-young) with a child born as a monster (Kim Si-a).
The series is expected to delve deeper into these characters' stories, exploring the hidden secrets and further developments in this post-apocalyptic world filled with horrifying transformations.
