Actor Kim Min-kyu to Enlist in Army on April 1st

SEOUL, March 20 (Yonhap) -- Actor Kim Min-kyu, one of the heartthrobs of rom-com series 'Business Proposal,' is set to enlist next month.

His agency, Company & Company, announced on the 20th that Kim Min-kyu will enlist as an active-duty soldier in the Army on April 1st.

The agency stated, "There will be no separate official event on the day of his enlistment," and added, "We ask for your understanding as he enters privately to prevent safety accidents."

Kim Min-kyu made his debut in 2013 with the tvN drama 'Monstar' and has appeared in dramas such as 'Signal', 'Because This Is My First Life', 'Business Proposal', and 'The Heavenly Idol'.
