SEOUL, April 22 (Yonhap) -- Singer Hwang Garam, who rose to popularity with the hit “I Am Firefly,” will release a new single titled “Even If the World Deceives You” at 6 p.m. Tuesday, his agency said.

His management, JMG, said the song delivers a message of warmth and empathy, promising to be a ray of light in dark times. Hwang’s rich vocals complement the lyrical expression of comfort.

His previous single “I Am Firefly,” released in October last year, topped Melon’s Top 100 chart, resonating with listeners for its touching lyrics that mirrored the singer’s long struggle through obscurity.
