SEOUL, September 2 (Yonhap) -- After the opening ceremony on Friday, "2022 Gongju Culture Night" will start its four-day schedule in Gongju, Chungnam.

The theme of the festival is "A Night I Miss the Princess," and there are 19 programs planned based on the background of the times, from the Donghak Peasant Revolution in the 1890s to the Chungnam Provincial Government in the 1940s.

The Gongju Christian Museum and the Gongju History Video Hall in Jemincheon Stream, which beautifully lights up at night, will be available to provide visitors with unique attractions.

In particular, programs that connect cultural heritage in various ways, such as stamp tours, tours with a commentator, and online exploration, lead visitors to the time of the modern princess.

Intangible Cultural Heritage Performance and demonstration will be provided with a cross-exhibition of princesses 100 years ago and present, a Jemincheon modern concert, a humanities concert, and plays involving the audience.

The two-day and one-night package program is also worth it, where participants enjoy the specialties of Gongju, the banquet romantic dinner, the local artist's marketplace, and the princess itself.
