SEOUL, Feb. 20 (Yonhap) - Air Busan has announced on Monday that it will temporarily increase about 100 flights to Jeju from the 21st to the 25th of next month.
The temporary expansion routes include 60 flights from Busan to Jeju and 48 flights from Gimpo to Jeju, with a total of 21,564 additional seats being added due to this increase.
From last month to the present, the average boarding rate for Air Busan and Jeju routes has been in the middle of 90%.
An Air Busan official said, "There are still many tourists visiting Jeju, and we temporarily increased the flights considering the increase of tourists until March, because of spring vacation, the Korea Independence Movement Day, and the full bloom of rape flowers in Jeju Island."
