SEOUL, April 19 (Yonhap) -- South Korean actor Kim Ji-hoon was cast in the new Amazon Prime Video series 'Butterfly,' his first role in Hollywood project, his management Big Picture Entertainment confirmed on the 19th.
'Butterfly' depicts the chase between former U.S. intelligence agent David Jeong (played by Daniel Dae Kim) shrouded in mystery and an active agent Rebecca tasked with assassinating him, based on the eponymous comic series.
Actors Kim Tae-hee and Park Hae-soo were also cast in the series. The specific roles they will take on have not been disclosed yet.
Kim Ji-hoon made his debut in 2002 with the KBS drama 'Loving You' and has appeared in dramas like 'Flower of Evil,' Netflix series 'Money Heist: Joint Economic Area,' 'Love to Hate You,' and film 'Ballerina.'
