Mesmerizing 'Daebu Haesol-gil' in Ansan
You can enjoy diverse landscapes while walking along the entire 10 courses (91 kilometers) of Daebu Haesol-gil in Daebudo Island, Ansan City, Gyeonggi Province.
Daebu Haesol-gil starts from Bangamuri Pier and connects to Gubong Island, Daebu Nam-dong, Sangam Island, and Tando Harbor all the way to Daesong Complex.
Course 1, from Bangamuri to Donji Island Road, is the highlight of Daebu Haesol-gil, most frequented by tourists. The vast mudflats along the western coast, surrounded by a forest of pine trees, offer a magnificent view.

The Gubongdo Sunset Observation Deck, connected to the seaside path by the Ant Waist Bridge, is popular among photographers for its stunning views of the beautiful sunsets over the West Sea. The walking path across the seaside is also attracting attention.
When the tide recedes, families of tourists flock to experience the mudflats during the refreshing autumn season. The deck spans over 5 kilometers and offers encounters with migratory birds.
The trails of Mount. Bukmang, Mount. Gubong and Donji Island are relatively low in elevation and easy to navigate.
The sunsets from Nuae Island and Jjokbak Island are among the best in the country.
You can admire a variety of glass artworks, giving rise to thoughts like "Koreans can do anything." It's also a great place to take photos with outdoor artworks and reeds as the backdrop.
You can also walk through the Daebu Mine, where dinosaur fossils have been discovered, and witness the grandeur of nature with sedimentary rock layers formed along the beach.

The Nuae Island Lighthouse Observation Deck, accessible by foot during low tide from Tando Harbor, offers picturesque views with wind turbines, marking a scenic spot for capturing the essence of a beautiful journey on Daebudo Island.
In 2023, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety selected five places including Daebudo Island as "the autumn islands to visit."
Since 2022, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, along with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Island Development Institute, have been selecting and promoting islands suitable for tourism each season.
