K-pop idol and foreign influencers to advertise Busan

SEOUL March 23 (Yonhap) -- K-pop idols and various well known foreign influencers will collaborating on advertising tourism within Busan.

Busan City Government and Busan Tourism Organization addressed on Thursday, that they will be creating an entertainment video “Naedol tour – global friends” (literal translation) to target Japanese and Chinese people regarding Busan’s tourist spots and tourism packages.

K-pop girl group Apink’s member Chorong and Bomi will be collaborating with Japanese influencer Onuma Rui and tour through Busan and provide walk through guide of using “Visit Busan Pass” which is provided to foreign visitors.

The upcoming video will be released through “1TheK Original” channel on YouTube on March 23 and 30.

Moreover, in April, K-pop boy group will be featured in a video showcasing Busan City tour along with Taiwan influencers in hope to target Chinese people.

“Visit Busan Pass” which started off its test run since February has successfully sold over 4 thousand copies.

There are two version of the pass which provides 24 hours and 48 hours worth of the benefit of receiving discounts on various food and drink vendors located around the tourist spots.
