Nonsan city within South Chungcheong province opens Hanok village

SEOUL November 22 (Yonhap) -- Nonsan city located within the South Chungcheong province has opened a Hanok village where visitors can stay.

According to the Nonsan City Government on Tuesday, mayor Baek Sung-hyun of Nonsan City and various important figures attended the opening ceremony of the hanok village

Nonsan Hanok village provides 12 different types of accommodation, which varies in size, shapes and looks, also the village provide spaces for seminar, and academia.

Throughout the opening ceremony, mayor of the Nonsan City addressed “Nonsan Hanok Village has reborn into a place of balanced mixture of the past and the present at the home of Giho School, Nonsan,” adding “We hope everyone who visit the village to enjoy the classic vibe and make a lot of good memories from Nonsan Hanok Village.”
