Singer-Songwriter Gaeddong to Release New Single ‘Hard to Call You a Friend’

SEOUL, May 17 (Yonhap) -- Up-and-coming singer-songwriter Gaeddong will drop a new single titled “Hard to Call You a Friend” on May 18, her agency Ssonamu Music said Friday.

The track is a modern pop-folk song that explores the emotional tension between friendship and romantic feelings. 

It tells the story of someone whose emotions toward a close friend can no longer be described by the word “friend” alone.

It features clean acoustic guitar arrangements blended with Gaeddong’s understated vocals and electric guitar, both performed by the artist herself.
