SEOUL, Apr. 18 (Yonhap) -- Yuseong Hot Springs Culture Festival in Daejeon, which combines snow flowers and hot springs, is opening on the 6th of next month.

Due to COVID-19, the festival was not held in 2020 and 2021.

According to Yuseong county on the 18th, the festival held in Oncheon-ro, Yuseong county and Kyeryong Spatel plaza, in Gapcheonbyeon, that will be held for three days will also have small events under the theme of "Here for a moment, Healing Yuseong."

On May 6th, the festival will begin by local artists who are having a hard time due to the COVID-19 pandemic along with performances using LED.

At 'Sesimjang', a cultural bath where you can wash your mind with culture, you can heal your weary mind with various methods including yoga and meditation.

For children, there will be a art experience zone, a hot spring science experience zone that combines hot springs and science, and an experience zone that combines hot springs and beauty, while for couples, a private cabana zone is provided.

The works of local artists, along with landscape lighting and media art will also be showcased.

On the evening of May 7th, Saturday, hip-hop and dance performances for young people will be held, and on Sunday, May 8th, a collaboration performance of musical actors and bands will be held.

Biryongjae in the Kyeryong Spatel, which was used as the former presidential villa will be fully open to visitors during the festival.

Along with the Yuseong Hot Springs Culture Festival, a spring flower exhibition will also be held at the Oncheon park from April 30th till the 1st of June.
