Jeju Tourism Organization hosts familiarization tour for Taiwan visitors

SEOUL March 17 (Yonhap) -- In preparation of the upcoming travel season in April, Familiarization Tour took place in hope to host a lot of visitors from Taiwan.

Jeju Island, and Jeju Tourism Organization and Korea Tourism Organization, and T-Way airline, collaboratively addressed on Friday, in order to expand the tourism business Taiwan’s travel agent are currently hosting a Familiarization Tour.

In total of 15 various people including 11 from the Taiwan’s travel agencies and two of the media personal visited Jeju island located in South Korea by using a direct flight.

Visitors will spend in total of 4 days and 3 nights until March 18 participating in a traditional drink making programs, and various traditional shows and performances taking part in various tourist attractions.

Moreover, in order to develop a better tourism packages, visitors will look around 5 star hotels and unique cafes in Jeju in order to provide unique and high quality experiences.

Jeju Tourism Organization will use the opportunity to transform Jeju Island as a destination for cheap get away and focus on building various high quality tourism packages.

After the re-opening of flights by T-WAY and Tiger airlines, on November and December of 2022, over 3000 visitors are visiting Jeju every month.
