Ahn Hyo-seop to appear on U.S. shows Jimmy Fallon, TODAY on global success of 'K-pop Demon Hunters'

SEOUL, Jan. 13 (Yonhap) -- Actor Ahn Hyo-seop is set to appear on major U.S. television programs, riding the global popularity of the Netflix film "K-pop Demon Hunters," his agency said Tuesday.

According to The Present Company, Ahn appeared on NBC’s "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Monday (local time) and will also meet U.S. viewers through NBC’s morning program "TODAY" on Tuesday.

Ahn took part in the English dubbing of "K-pop Demon Hunters," which incorporates K-pop and other Korean cultural elements, voicing Jin-woo, a member of the demon boy group Saja Boys.

The film won two awards at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards ceremony held Sunday, taking home best animated feature film and best original song for "Golden."
