SEOUL, November 30 (Yonhap) -- Global online streaming platform Netflix and Korea Tourism Organization will test operate their tourism route introducing traditional culture of South Korea under the theme of "Korea No.1," a Netflix variety show.

"Korea No.1" is a variety show where emcee Yoo Jae-suk, actor Lee Kwang-soo, volleyball player Kim Yeon-koung experience traditional cultures all around Korea with masters of different traditions. The tourism route consists of three keywords which are "Hanok Tile," "Najeonchilgi," and "Makgeolli."

Depending on the keywords, visitors will visit traditional culture, local specialties, and food experiences, as well as historical sites, museums, and content filming sites. It will also present products produced by actual craftsmen through the event.

Netflix and the Korea Tourism Organization have produced and released a special video on YouTube channels that offers a glimpse of Korean culture in the work, starting with greetings from the cast of "Korea Number One."

The test operation will be held from December 6 to 8 and 13 to 15.
