SEOUL, Mar. 16 (Yonhap) – Lotte World Adventure Busan has announced on Thursday that it has surpassed 1.4 million cumulative visitors ahead of its first anniversary on the 31st.

It ranks first in the numver of visitors to major paid tourist destinations in Busan in 2022 registered in the Tourism Knowledge & Information System.

Lotte World Adventure Busan is to hold various great welcoming events to mark the first anniversary of its opening.

On the 31st, which marks its first anniversary, a night parade with fireworks will be held.

To commemorate the first anniversary, an 800㎡ tulip garden is to be created and commemorative cake sculptures are to be installed to operate as photo zones.

There will also be a prize event from March 31 to April 28 that gives out one ticket per person.

Lotte World Busan will invite about 100 children from shelters whose birthdays are in March and hold a joint birthday party on the 31st.

At the joint birthday party, Lotte World’s Busan performance team will perform a celebration performance for children, and Lotte World’s representative characters Lotty and Lorry will present gifts themselves.

In addition to the joint party, Lotte World Busan will invite a total of 331 children from vulnerable groups in the region, where it is not easy to visit the theme park, during April.
