[K-Traveler] Amid dazzling daisy flowers of Gisan Lake

데이지꽃이 있는 풍경 사이로

물빛이 짙고 푸르러 그 바닥을 알 수 없는 깊이의 호수가 있다.
본디 생겨난 이름은 <기산 저수지>이고 나중 생겨난 이름은 <기산 호수>다.

그 깊고 푸른 호수를 앞마당 삼아 <안상철 미술관>이 있다. 부친 안상철 화가의 유지를 받들어 따님이 운영하고 있다.
그 옆으로는 미술관 보다 열 배(?)나 큰 <브루다Brweda 카페>가 있다. 마찬가지로 기산호수를 배경으로 삼았다. 카페 앞마당에는 하얗게 핀 샤스타데이지 꽃이 흐드러지게 피어 있다.

차를 마시러 온 고객들은 연령층도 다양하다. 특히나 아이 또는 반려견을 동반한 가족들도 있다. 아침 햇살처럼 빛나는 젊은이들과 푸릇푸릇 푸른 물 돋을 어여쁜 연인들도 많다. 그리고 무슨, 무슨 모임들의 단체에서 온 사람들도 많다. 지하부터 이층까지 발 디딜 틈이 없을 정도로 붐빈다. 
차를 준비하는 주방을 잠깐 들여다보았다. 프랑스대혁명 전 방직공장 내부처럼 까만 티셔츠를 입은 많은 직원들의 손길이 일사 분란했다. 

이야기가 옆길로 샜다.
연합뉴스 K컬처아카데미 <여행자학교>의 도광환 교장 선생님이 <미술-보자기>라는 책을 출간했다. 안상철 미술관에서 북콘서트를 한다고 했다.
안상철 미술관은 큰조카가 사는 집에서 십여 분 정도만 가면 되는 곳이다 . 원래 스케줄대로라면 여고동창들과 함께 부천장미공원에서 수다를 풀고 있어야 하는데, 동창 모임을 펑크 내고 미술관으로 경로를 바꿨다.

시간 맞춰 미술관으로 들어서니, 교장선생님과 여행자학교 동기생들이 반긴다.
먼저 교장선생님의 <보도사진과 서양미술>에 대한 강의가 있었다. 역시나 두 시간을 한다 해도 질리지 않을 만큼 빨려 들어가는 입담이다.

더 오래 듣고 싶었으나 예정된 시간이 있으니 맛만 본 셈이다. 언제 또 이런 강의가 있다면 좋은 사람들 데리고 가서 더 오래 듣고 싶다.
식사 후 관장님이 손수 마련해준 점심을 부페식으로 먹고 미술관에서 마침 전시 중인 오숙환 화가의 개인전 <자연의 호흡>을 관람했다.

문 연지 15년 정도 되었는데, 꽤 의미 있는 전시회라고. 관장님이 부연설명을 해주셨다. 잔잔하게 흑백으로 다가서는 무언의 그림들이 창밖 호수의 푸른 물빛과 대조돼 매혹적이었다.

전시장 안에서 그림을 보다가 조그맣게 난 창으로 밖을 보니 풍경이 너무 아름다웠다. 뛰쳐나왔다. 조카들과 호수 주변을 걸었다.
적당히 내리는 햇살에 은근 불어오는 바람을 섞어 아작아작 비타민 D를 깨물어 삼켰다.
포만감이 물렁한 살갗을 탱탱하게 해주었다. 다리 근육에 힘이 들어가서 길게 이어진 수변길을 둥글게 걸었다.

조카들이 오랜만에 문화생활 했다면서 좋아라 한다. 이모 덕분이란다. 다음에도 이런 일 있으면 꼭 데리고 다니란다.
나도 좋았다. 핑계 김에 윤슬 반짝이는 아름다운 호수에서 하루 잘 보냈으니. 초록빛 이는 들판과 봉우리 높은 북한산 봉우리와 보석처럼 빛나는 물빛을 오래도록 보았으니. 조급했던 성정과 소란 일던 그 마음이 잔잔해졌으니.
무엇보다 자주 못 만나는 조카들 얼굴도 보고 그간의 속상했던 일, 좋았던 일도 고개 끄덕여가며 들어주고 이모 역할도 했으니. 이렇게 하루가 온통 초록으로 빛이 났으니.

Amid dazzling daisy flowers of Gisan Lake

There is a lake with unknown depth because of its deep and blue color.

The original name was "Gisan Reservoir," later changed to "Gisan Lake."

In front of this deep blue lake, there is Ahn Sang Chul Museum. It is run by the daughter of painter Ahn Sang Chul under his will.

Next to it is the "Brweda Cafe," probably 10 times larger than the museum. It is also in front of the Gisan Lake. White Shasta daisy flowers are bloomed in the front yard of the cafe.

 

Customers of varying age came to drink tea. In particular, there were families with children or dogs. There were also many young people and beautiful lovers. A lot of people came as a group. It was so crowded that there was no room to step from the basement to the second floor.

I took a quick look at the kitchen where the tea was being prepared. Staffs wearing black T-shirts were busy, like inside of a textile factory right before the French Revolution.

 

Do Gwang-hwan, principal of Yonhap News Agency’s "Travel Academy," published a book called "ART-BOJAGI." He said he would have a book concert at the Ahn Sang Chul Museum.

Ahn Sang Chul Museum is only about 10 minutes away from my nephew's house. According to my original schedule, I was supposed be chatting with high school friends at Bucheon Rose Park, but instead of going to that meeting, I changed the plan and went to the museum.

 

Entering the art museum on time, the principal and colleagues from the Traveler Academy welcomed me.

As expected, principal is gifted with the talent to attract audiences with his wit throughout his class with extended for over two hours.

Although I wanted to stay longer, I had plans to attend to. If there is another class like this, I want to take my friends and listen to it longer.

We ate lunch prepared by the director himself in a buffet style and watched the private exhibition "Nature's Breath" by artist Oh Sook Whan, which was just on display at the museum.

The director gave us an additional explanation, saying it’s a meaningful exhibition. Silent paintings that approached calmly in black and white were fascinating, contrasting with the blue water of the lake outside the window.

 

The scenery was so beautiful when I looked outside through a small window while looking around the exhibition hall. I ran out. I walked around the lake with my nephews.

I bit and swallowed vitamin D under the sunlight with the slightly blowing wind.

A feeling of fullness made my soft skin firm. I walked round the long waterfront road with strength in my leg muscles.

 

My nephews loved it saying it has been a long time since they enjoyed cultural life. They thanked me for it and told me to take them with me if something like this happens again next time.

I liked it, too. I had a good day at the beautiful lake where it shines beautifully. I've seen the green fields, the high peaks of Bukhansan Mountain, and the color of the water shining like jewels for a long time. The impatient temper and the fuss calmed down.

Above all, I saw my nephews that I couldn't meet often, and listened to the both upsetting and good things in their lives, nodding my head and playing the role of an aunt. The whole day glowed green.
