SEOUL, Feb. 23 (Yonhap) -- South Korean rock band Thornapple will hold a solo concert, titled “Black Star,” at the Seoul Olympic Park on Apr. 8, the band’s agency MPMG Music confirmed Thursday.
“Black Star” is also the title of a track in the quartet’s third LP “Enlightenment.” The concert will be the largest ever since the band was formed.
“Thornapple will be unveiling their music world of great depth,” the band’s agency said, adding that the act will also unveil new tracks during their gig.
After making its debut in 2009, the band has been invited to numerous overseas performances, such as the Summer Sonic Festival, also known as Supersonic, in Japan and Colormoon’s Melody Of Life Music Festival in Thailand.
