SEOUL, Aug. 23 (Yonhap) -- “Y-callibur LOL league,” dubbed title, a tournament of “League of Legend” is to be held on September 11~26th, according to the game’s producer KT Monday.

The MVP winner of the upcoming tournament will join “KT Rolster,” a professional gamer team, as a trainee and be given an opportunity to debut as a professional gamer.

Only amateur players aged from 12~29 who are not in the pro league are allowed to apply for the event.

Application forms are accepted on the tournament’s website (https://www.ycalibur.co.kr) until the 10th of September.

“We hope for this tournament to be a festive for the gen MZ and the best stage for youngsters to make an entrance to pro gamer team, their dream career,” said Park Hyun-jin executive director, chief director of KT Customer.
