SEOUL, Mar. 27 (Yonhap) -- The city of Chuncheon in Gangwon Province will start operating tour buses that follow brand-new tour routes.
The city is gearing up to showcase updated tour routes for the upcoming summer from Apr. 1 to Nov. 30 with more tourist attractions that can be visited with pets as well as routes that stop by at the city’s traditional markets.
Outdoor tourist attractions such as Jade Garden, Gugok Falls, and King Canoe, which are usually closed in the winter season, have also been included in this brand-new route. The routes that can be enjoyed with pets will be available only on Tuesdays, and the stops will vary each day.
The boarding fee for the city tour is 6,000 won for adults and 4,000 won for children and senior citizens over the age of 65.
An official from the city said, “We are looking forward to a significant surge in the utilization rate with the brand-new city tour routes that stop not only at local attraction courses but also at spots that can be visited with pets as well as traditional markets.”
