SEOUL January 25 (Yonhap) -- “Hello, my name is Michieda Shunsuke, and I am glad to be here with you guys, today.” Japanese actor Michieda Shunsuke known for his role as a protagonist Kamiya Tooru, chuckled throughout the press conference of the movie “Even This Love Disappears From The World Tonight.”
Throughout the press conference of the movie “Even This Love Disappears from the World Tonight” held at CGV in Yongsan on Wednesday, actor Michieda Shunsuke stated “Despite of my lack of ability to speak Korean, I have studied a little before visiting,” and greeted the press in Korean.

Movie “Even This Love Disappears From The World Tonight” depicts a love story of a high school student Maori Hino acted by actress Fukumoto Riko who suffers from aforebosexual amnesia and fellow student Tooru Kamiya acted by Michieda Shunsuke. This is actor Michieda Shunsuke’s first movie which he played a lead role in.

When asked of the reason how the movie became such huge success in South Korea, actor carefully addressed “I have heard that the original novel for the movie is very famous, therefore that fame fueled the success of the movie as well, however, the movie itself has significant power as well.”

Protagonist Kamiya Tooru acted by Michieda Shunsuke is a protagonist who loves to read novels. Throughout the movie Tooru is faced with Maori who gets bullied by her fellow students, as a result Tooru asks Maori out in order to help her out, however she accepts Tooru’s propose and both of the character starts on their journey as a couple.
Throughout the press conference Michieda Shunsuke addressed that he personally believes that character he plays throughout the movie is about 60 percent similar to who he is in person.
“Tooru is good at cooking and cleaning, however I am very bad at those, therefore we have about 40 percent difference. However, Tooru has a strong feeling and emotion to act out and do good things for those surrounding him, and I feel the same way for my fans, therefore I try to participate in memorable productions for my fans.” stated actor Michieda Shunsuke throughout the press conference of the movie “Even This Love Disappears From The World Tonight.”
Actor Michieda Shunsuke who addressed that he enjoys watching South Korean dramas picked “True Beauty” as his favorite drama and selected actor Song Kang as his favorite actor in South Korea.
“I personally like Song Kang, as a fan I try to watch all of his works, if I do get the chance I would love to participate in a production by South Korean director.” addressed Michieda Shunsuke.
