Changwon City to join hands with T-map for upcoming Jinhae Gunhangjae Festival

SEOUL, Mar. 8 (Yonhap) -- The city of Changwon in South Gyeongsang Province has inked a business agreement with T-map Mobility (T-map) to provide better convenience for tourists visiting the upcoming 61st Jinhae-gun Port Festival.

By signing this business agreement, the T-map mobile application will introduce several of the most visited tourist attractions and convenience facilities, including cherry blossom spots, tourist attractions, parking lots, and restaurants in the city.

The app will also be creating an exclusive “Jinhae Gunhangje Festival” category to be included in the app’s “T Now” menu starting from Mar. 16. The category will provide all the information regarding the Festival for the visitors to check out at once as well as directions leading to the tourist attractions.

The city will be providing more detailed data, including the exact location and image of tourist attractions and convenience facilities, to the app for more stable operation of the service.

“We are looking forward to join hands with T-map in promoting the Jinhae Gunhangjae Festival, which will help provide even better convenience for tourists and hold the Festival successfully,” Jeong Choong-hyun, the city’s information and communication officer, said.
