'The Moon Rabbit in Moon' exceeds 33 million views on YouTube

SEOUL December 30 (Yonhap) -- Advertisement of Busan which depicts Moon Rabbit’s visit to Busan, is attracting a lot of interest by its viewers through online.

Three of the advertisement and the teaser video released through the official YouTube page of Busan “Visit Busan” have managed to exceed over 33 million views, addressed Busan Tourism Organization and Busan City Government on Friday.

“The Moon Rabbits” which is created under the theme of Rabbit Duo’s travel, depicts their trip to Busan where it successfully showcases the beauty of Busan and merit of working and enjoying life in the city. The video received a lot of positive reviews for showcasing the merit of the city accurately.

The advertisement showcases, various tourist sites such as Gwangandaegyo Bridge (Diamond Bridge), Ahopsan Mountain Forest, Oryukdo Island, and various more spots.

Scene where the duo of moon bunnies look in to the sunset at the Dadaepo beach is considered as one of the highlights of the video.

The advertisement features “Song in Praise of Busan” from 1984 which is familiar to those who live in Busan, and unique experience to foreign viewers.

Throughout the 5500 comments, comments such as ‘Perfect collaboration of Modern and the History,’ ‘This video makes me want to visit Busan,’ and more which showcased interests in visiting Busan can be found.

Throughout the “Mice Roadshow in Busan 2022” which took place in Bangkok from December 8 until 11, featured the advertisement, the road show served as a great opportunity to advertise Busan City.

CEO of Busan Tourism Organization, Lee Jung-sil addressed “The advertisment is loved by so many people because it shows various merit of Busan City,” adding “We plan to continue on with the marketing of the advertisement until Busan becomes the number one want to be tourist spot.”
