Singer Insooni appointed as ambassador for 'Gangwon Triennales 2021'

HONGCHEON, Aug. 2 (Yonhap) — Hongcheon County, Gangwon Province, has appointed singer Insooni as a promotional ambassador for the "Gangwon Triennales 2021."

Hongcheon County held an agreement ceremony with the Gangwon Art & Culture Foundation and Haemil School at the county office meeting room on Monday and appointed Insooni as its ambassador.

Insooni has established and operated Haemil School, a multicultural alternative school for children of multicultural families in Korea, in Hongcheon since 2012.

Gangwon Triennales 2021 will be held from Sept. 30 to Nov. 7 in Gyeorun-ri, Hongcheon County.

Under the theme of "Warm Revitalization," it is the only international visual arts festival in Gangwon Province that presents expectations and prospects for regeneration and recovery in the post-pandemic era triggered by disasters, environmental crises, and COVID-19.
