Presidential office's relocation to Cheong Wa Dae

A flag bearing the South Korean president's symbol -- a double phoenix with a rose of Sharon -- is lowered at the presidential office in Seoul on Dec. 29, 2025, as President Lee Jae Myung begins working at the former presidential office Cheong Wa Dae in the capital, starting the same day, with the office officially relocated to it after three years and seven months.
