[ENG] N. Korea blasts U.N. human rights resolution for using fabricated testimonies from human scum

A U.N. committee adopted another N. Korean human rights resolution amid growing concerns for the safety of North Korean escapees who have been repatriated from China

The resolution by the Third Committee handling human rights and social affairs "strongly urges all member states to respect the "fundamental principle of non-refoulement, especially in the light of a resumption of cross-border travel."

In particular, it condemns "in the strongest terms the long-standing and ongoing systematic, widespread and gross violations of human rights" in the North

North Korean Ambassador to the U.N. Kim Song, meanwhile, lambasted the resolution stressing that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) categorically rejects the draft resolution regarding the human rights situation in the country
