Maroon 5 drops collaboration song with BLACKPINK's Lisa

SEOUL, May 2 (Yonhap) -- American pop-rock band Maroon 5 rolled out a collaboration single with Lisa of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK on Friday, Universal Music said.

"Priceless" is the first pre-release track from Maroon 5's upcoming first studio album, according to the distributor. It marks the first time Maroon 5 has collaborated with a K-pop artist.

"With this new release, Maroon 5 returned to its own musical style and showcased deeper songwriting and greater authenticity," the company said in a release.

Lisa has previously collaborated with various pop stars such as Doja Cat, Raye, Megan Thee Stallion, Future and Tyla on her first solo album, titled "Alter Ego."

Following the album's release this summer, Maroon 5 will embark on a world tour to meet its international fans.
