1st meeting of consultative body on trainee doctors' walkout
Representatives from the government, the ruling People Power Party (PPP) and medical groups pose during their inaugural meeting at the National Assembly in Seoul on Nov. 11, 2024, to address a prolonged walkout by approximately 12,000 trainee doctors nationwide that began in February. Opposition parties did not attend the meeting, although they had previously agreed to join the body.
