Pavilion on Gyeongpo Lake in Gangneung

The pavilion of Wolpa is pictured on Gyeongpo Lake in the city of Gangneung on South Korea's east coast on Jan. 16, 2023, with a snowy Baekdudaegan Mountain Range seen in the background. The mountain range divides the northeastern province of Gangwon into two regions, Yeongdong and Yeongseo. Gangneung falls in eastern Yeongdong, while PyeongChang, the venue of the 2018 Winter Olympics, is located in western Yeongseo. (Yonhap)
