Conference on sustainable ocean
Peter Thomson, the U.N. secretary general's special envoy for the ocean, speaks during the opening ceremony of this year's Our Ocean Conference at the BEXCO convention center in the southeastern port city of Busan on April 29, 2025. The conference, which brought together representatives from more than 400 international and nonprofit organizations, is aimed at discussing diverse and concrete actions for a sustainable ocean.
