'Comfort women' rally
Ko Min-jung (L), chief of the main opposition Democratic Party's human rights committee, takes part in a regular Wednesday rally, the 1,690th of its kind, near the Japanese Embassy in Seoul on March 5, 2025, to call for Japan's apology and compensation for the victims of the Japanese army's sexual slavery during World War II, euphemistically called "comfort women."
