DP leader receives suspended jail term for election law violations
Lee Jae-myung (C), leader of the main opposition Democratic Party (DP), exits the Seoul Central District Court on Nov. 15, 2024, after being sentenced to one year in prison, suspended for two years, for making false statements during the 2022 presidential campaign as the DP candidate.
