Russia's defense minister arrives in N. Korea for talks with military officials: TASS
SEOUL, Nov. 29 (Yonhap) -- Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov arrived in North Korea on Friday for talks with senior military officials and politicians, Russia's TASS news agency said.
Belousov is scheduled to hold a number of bilateral meetings during his official visit to Pyongyang, the agency said, quoting Russia's defense ministry.
The visit comes as Russia and North Korea have been deepening military ties, with more than 10,000 North Korean troops being sent to fight alongside Russia in the war against Ukraine.
