Temporary visa waiver program for Chinese group tourists

Chinese tourists visit Gyeongbok Palace, the main royal palace during the 1392-1910 Joseon Dynasty, in Seoul, on Aug. 6, 2025. South Korea will introduce a temporary visa waiver program for Chinese group tourists that comes into force from Sept. 29 to June 30 next year, as part of efforts to boost domestic spending and the tourism market.
