South Korea, a country where an average of 34 people commit suicide every day.
While people consider suicide for many reasons along with multiple psychological and socioeconomic factors, why are suicide rates particularly high in South Korea? Here is South Korea’s suicide problem, explained.

The Korean media has placed suicide reporting guidelines in an effort to prevent further suicides. These include avoiding direct wording (e.g. suicide) in the headlines and steering away from reporting on details such as location, method used, and motives.
