In January, a popular Korean drama titled “Crash Landing on You” was accused of violating S. Korea’s National Security Law (NSL). The accusation was made by the conservative Christian Liberty Party, which claimed that the show had “glamorized” North Korea and portrayed the communist state in a “peaceful” way, which is punishable by the law.
