Well, the U.S. and China are taking that shortage very seriously – making it a matter of national importance. And this is where major chip producers like Samsung come in. It’s a huge global player, the world’s largest memory chip producer in fact. Washington seems to be pulling together the world’s main chip makers to trump China. But can Samsung, and South Korea generally, maintain a middle path?
