It was an eagerly anticipated visit – what did we learn from the U.S. envoy on North Korea Sung Kim’s trip to South Korea over the weekend? Kim sent out some messages to and regarding Pyongyang but it’s difficult to say much progress was made on that front. Meanwhile, Seoul’s hopes for peace hang in the balance ahead of the next presidential election in the South next March. And North Korea is testing weapons while getting closer to China.
