SEOUL,
Nov. 20 (Yonhap) --
Shin’s agency AM Entertainment said Thursday the two “have promised to become lifelong partners based on the deep trust they have built over their long relationship.”
The agency added that their wedding will be held privately on Dec. 20 at an undisclosed location in Seoul, with only family members and close acquaintances in attendance.
“We ask for warm support and blessings for the couple as they make this important decision in their lives,” the agency said, noting that both actors will continue to remain committed to their acting careers and strive to repay the love they have received.
Kim also shared the news directly with fans through a handwritten letter posted on his fan community earlier in the day.
“I wanted to tell Woobin (the fandom name) first, who always give me unconditional love and support,” he wrote. “Yes, I’m getting married. I will build a family with the person who has been by my side for a long time, and we will begin walking this path together.”
He added, “Please cheer for us so that the path we walk can be a warm one.”
