GYEONGJU, Dec. 15 (Yonhap) -- This photo shows a relic from the Silla Dynasty, called Neungjitap Pagoda Site located in Gyeongju. It is a cultural property made of stone. It remains standing at the outskirts of Gyeongju, the capital of the ancient kingdom Silla that lasted for a millennium in the Korean Peninsula. It is not sure whether its current state is the original shape. Its remains that were rolling around in pieces were organized as it is now in 1979. In Buddhism, a pagoda is a symbolic monument enshrining the relics or remains of the Buddha. But it can’t be said for sure that this was the intention of this monument.
