SEOUL, July 10 (Yonhap) -- K-pop boy group Stray Kids has earned a triple platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for its third Japanese EP “Hollow,” the agency said Thursday.
According to the RIAJ’s official website, “Hollow,” which was released last month, surpassed 750,000 cumulative shipments as of June, meeting the threshold for triple platinum status.
The RIAJ grants certifications based on total physical shipments: gold for 100,000 units, platinum for 250,000, double platinum for 500,000, and triple platinum for 750,000.
Separately, ENHYPEN’s sixth mini album “DESIRE: UNLEASH” received a platinum certification, marking the group’s 14th overall certification from the association.
LE SSERAFIM also earned gold status with its Japanese single “DIFFERENT.”
