Preservation of Gyeongseong Ilbo

The National Library of Korea completed preservation process of the "Gyeongseong Ilbo," a newspaper for the Japanese General Government of Korea which was published between 1925-1927, and released related YouTube videos on Nov. 15. 

The Gyeongseong Ilbo was preserved with restorative fibers made from existing fibers and "hanji" or "Korean paper." A total of 4,526 pages were treated and this photo shows parts of the Gyeongseong Ilbo after undergoing preservation.
