Blackpink’s Jisoo Surpasses 1 Billion Spotify Streams with Solo Songs

SEOUL, Oct. 14 (Yonhap) -- Blackpink member Jisoo’s solo songs have surpassed a combined 1 billion streams on global music platform Spotify, her agency Blissoo said Tuesday.

Jisoo has released eight solo tracks, including “Eyes Closed,” “Flower,” and “Earthquake.”

Her latest single “Eyes Closed,” released Oct. 10, debuted at No. 21 on Spotify’s “Top Songs Global” chart. It also topped iTunes “Top Singles” charts in 40 countries and reached No. 1 on YouTube Music’s “Worldwide Trending” chart in 74 countries.

“Eyes Closed” tells the story of two people who choose love again after enduring pain, and features British pop star Zayn, formerly of One Direction.
